This study examines the manifestations of the female self in the poetry collection (At Thirty from Her Palm Trees) by the Omani poet Aisha al-Saifi, focusing on the central symbols upon which the collection is built, and the major themes or motifs that recur throughout the collection and through which the active feminine self is manifested—a self whose existence is reshaped through linguistic themes and symbols that express her awareness of the self, the body, and the world. The study adopts a thematic approach, focusing on major themes such as the body: memory, nostalgia, and others, and utilizes analytical tools to highlight the aesthetic and semantic dimensions within the collection’s poetic texts, as well as the extent to which the feminine self is present in the poems of this collection under study.
