Pre-Submission Checklist

 

 

Before submitting a manuscript to the Taiz University Journal of Arts and Humanities, authors should ensure that all of the following requirements have been met.

Manuscript Requirements

  • The manuscript is original and has not been previously published, in whole or in part.

  • The manuscript is not currently under consideration by another journal or publishing body.

  • The manuscript falls within the aims and scope of the Journal.

  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.

  • The manuscript complies with the Journal's submission and manuscript preparation requirements.

  • The manuscript has been carefully checked for linguistic, grammatical, and spelling errors.

Author Information

  • Complete and accurate information has been provided for all authors.

  • The corresponding author has been clearly identified.

  • Institutional affiliations and email addresses have been entered correctly.

  • ORCID iDs have been provided, where available.

Manuscript Preparation

  • The manuscript has been prepared using the Journal's approved template.

  • The title accurately reflects the content of the study.

  • The abstract and keywords have been included.

  • All required sections of the manuscript have been completed.

  • Tables and figures are clearly presented, numbered, and referred to in the text.

  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

  • DOIs or other persistent identifiers have been included where available.

Anonymous Peer Review

Where required for double-blind peer review:

  • Author names have been removed from the manuscript file.

  • Institutional affiliations have been removed from the manuscript.

  • Acknowledgments or other information that may reveal the identity of the author(s) have been removed.

  • File properties and metadata have been checked to ensure that they do not reveal author identity.

Ethical and Publication Requirements

  • The manuscript complies with the Journal's Publication Ethics.

  • All sources have been properly cited.

  • The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism and inappropriate text overlap.

  • Any required ethical approval has been obtained.

  • Sources of funding have been disclosed, where applicable.

  • Any actual or potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed.

  • The use of artificial intelligence tools has been disclosed, where applicable.

Before completing the submission, authors should confirm that they have reviewed and understood the Journal's relevant policies, including:
