The study also highlights some indicators for the spread of present-day ignorance of this inherited knowledge, indicators for its prosperity, and some preventive measures necessary to create a cognitive balance between the acquired knowledge and the inherited knowledge to limit the spread of public ignorance and to benefit from the acquired knowledge in achieving happiness in this world and the hereafter. The study stresses the importance of the forward-looking vision of leaders, scholars, intellectuals, academics and all Muslims in taking action and making plans that keep us, and our heritage, at pace with modern development so that we remain relevant in all aspects of life.
