Abstract This research examines the Takhrij (Interpretation) and Tahqiq (Verification) of the juristic narrations (Athar) reported by Imam Ibrahim al-Nakha’i (d. 96 AH) regarding "Sarf" (Currency Exchange) in "Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah" (d. 235 AH). The research problem highlights the necessity of a critical Hadith probing (Sabr) of these narrations, which constitute the foundation of transaction jurisprudence in the Kufa school. The study concludes by establishing the authenticity of several narrations unique to Ibn Abi Shaybah, while clarifying the defects of Irsal (Interruption) and Tadlis (Obfuscation) in some of their chains. Furthermore, it demonstrates the derived juristic implications that characterize al-Nakha’i’s jurisprudence in blocking the means (Sadd al-Dhara’i) to Riba in the exchange of currencies.
